Carrier Oil
Add clean water to just below the MAX line inside the tank (~100mL). Distilled water extends the life of the ultrasonic plate.

4–8 drops of pure essential oil or your chosen blend. Start with 4 for a bedroom or desk, increase for larger spaces. Never add carrier oils to the water tank.

Choose the LED color that matches the mood you're building. Keep it consistent — your brain learns the combination over time and starts to anticipate the feeling.

30–60 minutes is enough for most personal spaces. The diffuser shuts off automatically when the tank is empty — no need to babysit it.

Empty and wipe the tank dry between oil changes. Once a week: clean the ultrasonic plate with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Rinse and dry before the next use.
Q1 What's the difference between the Carrara and the Marquina?
Same technology, different use case. The Marquina has a bold dark marble base — designed for shared spaces like living rooms and dining areas. The Carrara has a pale minimal marble base — designed for personal spaces like bedrooms and desks. The hardware is identical: same ultrasonic plate, same LED system, same run time.
Q2 How many drops of oil do I use?
For a bedroom or personal desk space: start with 4 drops. That's typically sufficient. A bedroom doesn't need to be charged the way a living room does — less is usually more for sleep and focus use cases. For larger rooms, increase to 6–8.
Q3 Can I run it overnight?
Yes. The Carrara runs 6–8 hours on a full tank and shuts off automatically when the water runs out — there's no risk of it running dry and overheating. Many people set it running 30 minutes before sleep and let it run through the night. The bedroom will be fully charged well before morning.
Q4 How often does it need cleaning?
Once a week for daily users. Empty the tank, wipe it dry, and clean the ultrasonic plate with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Between oil changes, rinse and dry before adding a new blend — this prevents scent mixing and keeps the mist clean.

Do not add carrier oils (jojoba, almond, grapeseed) to the water tank — they will coat the ultrasonic plate and degrade performance. Use only water and pure essential oils. Unplug when not in use for extended periods. Keep out of reach of children. Note: some essential oils are toxic to cats and dogs — ensure adequate ventilation when diffusing in homes with pets, and consult your vet if concerned.
