Add clean water to just below the MAX line inside the tank (~100mL). Distilled water extends the life of the ultrasonic plate.

4–8 drops of pure essential oil or your chosen blend. Start with 4 for a medium room, increase for larger spaces. Never add carrier oils to the water tank.

Empty and wipe the tank dry between oil changes. Once a week: clean the ultrasonic plate with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Rinse and dry before the next use.
Q1 What's the difference between ultrasonic and heat-based diffusion?
Heat evaporates the oils but also alters their chemical compounds — you get the scent, but some of the therapeutic molecules are degraded. Ultrasonic diffusion uses high-frequency vibrations to create a cold mist — oil molecules stay fully intact, which means you're getting the complete effect, not just the smell.
Q2 How many drops of oil do I use?
Start with 4–6 drops for a medium-sized room (10–20 square meters). Increase to 8 for larger spaces. More drops don't always mean stronger scent — the room needs time to absorb the mist. 30–60 minutes of diffusion is usually more effective than 10 minutes at maximum drops.
Q3 Can I use any essential oil?
Yes — any pure essential oil or blend. The one rule: do not add carrier oils (jojoba, almond, grapeseed) directly to the water tank. Carrier oils are too thick for the ultrasonic plate and will coat it over time, degrading performance. Use only water + pure essential oils.
Q4 How often does it need cleaning?
Once a week for daily users. Empty the tank, wipe it dry, and clean the ultrasonic plate with a cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol. Between oil changes, rinse and dry before adding a new blend — this prevents scent mixing and keeps the mist clean.
