1. Choose the essential oil(s) that you
want to use based on your desired benefits. Some popular essential oils include
lavender for relaxation, tea tree for its antibacterial properties or
peppermint for a refreshing sensation.
2. Mix the essential oil into the base oil into a bowl or
using the bottle’s dropper to apply to your clean hand. As a general guideline
aim for 1% dilution, which means you add one drop of essential oil to every
teaspoon (5 ml) of base oil.
