Dear friend,
I spent years interviewing artists and musicians for The Screen Girls — over 60 conversations about creativity, ambition, and process, from Cam'ron to Beenie Man. But one thing kept coming up that had nothing to do with art: burnout, and a total absence of any ritual to come back from it, especially among the men I spoke to.That sent me down a rabbit hole into Aromachology — the science of how scent shapes emotion — and Vellum was born in 2019.Every blend I've made since has been about one thing: twenty seconds of feeling like yourself again. Thank you for being part of that with me.
