Almond is a wonder oil normal or mature skin. This oil is the only one that scores a 0 on the comedogenic scale, which means it won't clog pores and is safe for all skin types.
While they're both great all-over body moisturizers, Almond is a thicker oil. For this reason, we recommend it as a massage oil or to sink moisture into dry skin that needs reviving. It's more of a night oil than a day oil.
H-seed is a lighter oil which is perfect for applying to the body after you get out of the shower. It's non-comedogenic, which means it won't clog pores. It has a silkier feeling and it dries a bit faster. It's better for mature skin or normal/ combination skin.
H-seed is from our Body Essentials collection of dynamic, multipurpose natural base oils that
nourish the body from the cellular level to outer skin. These oils provide a natural barrier
that make essential oils safe to use on your skin.
To use:
1. Choose the essential oil(s) that you
want to use based on your desired benefits. Some popular essential oils include
lavender for relaxation, tea tree for its antibacterial properties or
peppermint for a refreshing sensation.
2. Mix the essential oil into the base oil into a bowl or
using the bottle’s dropper to apply to your clean hand. As a general guideline
aim for 1% dilution, which means you add one drop of essential oil to every
teaspoon (5 ml) of base oil.
Hempseed softens and moisturizes skin. It's great for those with eczema, psoriasis and sensitive skin. Over time it will help to moisturize and decrease the appearance of wrinkles. Another gentle way to use it is as a massage oil as well.
